My Old DELL Dimension 8400 Desktop's Hard Disk Drive Died Today! Looks like my new DELL XPS 600 showed up just in time! It's just a shame that I now won't be able to test Windows Vista Beta 2, that is unless it will actually install on my older Compaq Pentium 3 933 Mhz Computer, and run on it with out any Major Problems, whatsoever (LOL)!

How big is the hard disk in the Compaq? and why don't you change it with the one in the Dell?
Not Compatible (The Compaq is IDE and the DELL is Serial ATA).

Kevin All mother boards come with IDE even if you have SATA because there are no SATA CD/DVD drives

Hello, thanks for all the Replies, However, I just thought that I would let you guys know that I have decided not to keep wasting money on my DELL Dimension 8400 Desktop (considering the fact that I have had a total of 5 Hard Disk Drive's go Bad in the System, and considering the fact I now have a Brand New $2,000.00 U.S.A. Dollars DELL XPS 600, just FYI).
